Costa Mesa has several parks of its own. However, the great advantages of the place come from the fact that it is surrounded by both natural and human made marvels. There are deserts and mountains and an ocean all nearby providing an opportunity to embrace rather drastic extremes. However, the climate of the city itself is very mild; never too cold, never too hot, and in this respect is a veritable hallmark of moderation contrasted to the nearby extremes of sand and sea.
Also nearby are many other cities, mainly small ones, nested between gargantuan ones. This dense population means that all manner of cosmopolitan living options are explored and expressed by enthusiastic businesses and eager, curious customers.
